Another Raising Cane's, another 5 star review. The golden standard of what is arguably Louisiana's finest fast food product is alive and well in Lincoln. They've all the bases covered: solid locale, quality food, and excellent customer service with heavy doses of "Nebraska nice." (#1)
This location is in the heart of downtown Lincoln. It's large enough for big groups and they have a bustling staff to handle the weekend crowds. During football season, this place is packed during home games and weekend evenings. Long waits are not uncommon and the college crowd presence is definitely felt. When it's not busy being packed, it's usually a clean and super bright spot for the casual diner.
As per usual, the food is fabulous. The fingers, fries, Texas toast, and Cane's sauce are on point. There are no regional specialties that I can spot on their overly simplistic menu, but I would venture they are perfect for a tailgate outing. A big shout out to their self-serve fountain drinks station, especially the sweetened iced tea.

So when I there for lunch for to go. I got box combo. The taste good for it. I like the special sauce. It's so yum. But they forgot my bread for my to go. It's a very sad for me. Because I love that bread to eat with chicken hope they won't forget next time!

Raising canes is an absolute classic. Not liking raising canes is ignorant. Fantastic tenders with the toast and fries. Box combo remove the coleslaw for extra toast everyone knows the rules. I will say this tough unpopular opinion canes should have barbecue sauce also because the cane sauce isn't that good. I know that can be a controversial statement but it's just fact. It just ain't that good.

Who doesn't love chicken tenders. I love this place their chicken tenders fries and bread are the bomb. Anytime I drive past a cane or a norm in their area I must stop. They're dipping sauce is also wonderful. They have been around for a while but I've recently got addicted to their food. Also on a hot sunny day there fruit punch with a lot of ice it's so refreshing. I will devise that you check them out.

I always look forward to Raising Cane's when I am visiting Lincoln! Close to my hotel. Close to Haymarket. Chicken is always fried fresh. Sauce is delish! And always willing to swap out my coleslaw for another texas toast! Thanks!
